Order Processing & Fulfilment Policies
The Order Processing & Fulfilment Policy outlines the responsibilities of sellers after a buyer successfully places an order through the Artsays platform. Sellers are expected to process, prepare, package, and dispatch orders in a timely and professional manner while cooperating with Artsays and its authorised logistics partners to facilitate successful delivery.
Sellers remain responsible for ensuring that every confirmed order is fulfilled in accordance with applicable Artsays policies, legal requirements, and the commitments made through the product listing.
3.1 Packaging
Sellers are solely responsible for securely packaging their products before shipment. Artsays does not provide packaging materials, packaging services, or packaging assistance unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific service or programme.
Products should be packaged using materials appropriate for their size, value, fragility, and nature to minimise the risk of damage during storage, handling, and transportation.
Where applicable, sellers should include all relevant accompanying documents, certificates, care instructions, warranties, or other materials associated with the product.
Damage resulting from inadequate or improper packaging may remain the responsibility of the seller in accordance with applicable Artsays policies.
3.2 Shipping
Artsays may facilitate shipment through its authorised logistics partners to assist in the delivery of products to buyers.
Sellers are responsible for preparing the product for shipment and ensuring that it is ready for collection or handover in accordance with the applicable shipping process.
Shipment, transportation, and delivery are carried out by the authorised logistics partner. Sellers are expected to cooperate with Artsays and the logistics partner throughout the shipping process to support successful order fulfilment.
Where shipping restrictions, regulatory requirements, or location-specific limitations apply, sellers are responsible for ensuring that their products comply with all applicable shipping requirements.
3.3 Order Processing & Dispatch
Sellers are responsible for processing confirmed orders promptly and preparing products for dispatch within the estimated processing timelines communicated through the Artsays platform.
Before dispatch, sellers should verify that:
- The correct product is being shipped.
- The product matches the approved listing.
- Packaging has been completed appropriately.
- Any required documentation has been included.
Where delays become unavoidable, sellers should promptly notify Artsays so that appropriate action or buyer communication may be initiated where necessary.
Repeated delays, failure to dispatch confirmed orders, or repeated fulfilment failures may result in corrective actions under applicable Artsays policies.
3.4 Delivery Responsibilities
While transportation and delivery are carried out by Artsays' authorised logistics partners, sellers remain responsible for cooperating throughout the delivery process where reasonably required.
Sellers may be required to assist with matters relating to shipment verification, delivery investigations, damaged shipments, incorrect deliveries, returns, replacements, or other legitimate order-related enquiries.
Where a delivery-related dispute arises, Artsays may review available information, including shipment records, pickup confirmations, delivery status, photographs, courier reports, and other relevant evidence, to facilitate an appropriate resolution in accordance with applicable Artsays policies.
Successful delivery does not relieve sellers of their ongoing responsibilities relating to authenticity, applicable warranties, dispute resolution, or compliance with other Artsays policies.
