Product Listings Policies
The Product Listings Policy establishes the requirements for creating, maintaining, and managing product listings on the Artsays marketplace. Sellers are responsible for ensuring that all products offered through the platform are accurately represented, appropriately priced, and supported by reliable availability information.
Product listings should enable buyers to make informed purchasing decisions by providing complete, accurate, and transparent information. Sellers remain responsible for maintaining the accuracy of their listings throughout the period in which the products are available for sale.
2.1 Listing Standards
Sellers are responsible for creating complete, accurate, and professional product listings that comply with all applicable Artsays policies and relevant laws.
Each listing should include accurate information relevant to the product being offered, including, where applicable:
- Product title and description.
- Product category and specifications.
- Dimensions, materials, or medium.
- Product condition.
- Quantity or edition information.
- Clear and representative images.
- Any other information reasonably required to describe the product.
Listings must not contain false, misleading, deceptive, offensive, or unlawful content. Sellers must ensure that all information remains accurate and updated throughout the listing period.
Artsays reserves the right to review, edit, restrict, or remove listings that fail to comply with applicable platform standards.
2.2 Product Accuracy
Sellers are responsible for ensuring that every listed product accurately represents the item that will be delivered to the buyer.
Product descriptions, images, specifications, dimensions, colours, materials, condition, and other relevant information should accurately reflect the actual product. Images should clearly represent the product being offered and should not intentionally mislead buyers regarding its appearance, quality, or characteristics.
Where a product has any material limitations, defects, restorations, or other characteristics that may reasonably influence a buyer's purchasing decision, such information should be clearly disclosed within the listing.
Intentional misrepresentation, inaccurate descriptions, deceptive images, or omission of material information may result in listing removal, buyer remedies, or other enforcement actions under applicable Artsays policies.
2.3 Pricing
Sellers are solely responsible for determining the selling price of their products, subject to applicable Artsays policies and relevant laws.
All prices displayed on the platform should be accurate, transparent, and inclusive of any information required under applicable regulations. Sellers must not engage in misleading pricing practices, including artificial price inflation, false discounts, deceptive promotional pricing, or other practices that may mislead buyers or manipulate marketplace activity.
Where applicable, additional charges such as shipping charges, taxes, or other payable amounts will be displayed separately during the purchasing process in accordance with the applicable Artsays policies.
Artsays reserves the right to review pricing practices and take appropriate action where pricing is found to be misleading, fraudulent, or inconsistent with applicable policies.
2.4 Product Availability
This policy explains that sellers are responsible for ensuring that products listed on Artsays remain available for purchase. Sellers should promptly update or remove listings when a product has been sold, reserved, withdrawn, or is otherwise no longer available.
Where products are offered in limited quantities or editions, sellers should accurately maintain their availability to prevent overselling or order cancellations.
Repeated failures to maintain accurate product availability may result in buyer inconvenience, fulfilment issues, and corrective actions under applicable Artsays policies.
