Pricing, Fees & Payments Policies

The Pricing, Fees & Payments Policy explains how prices, transaction charges, payments, taxes, and payment-related disputes are handled on the Artsays marketplace. This policy applies to purchases made through the platform and is intended to provide buyers and collectors with a clear understanding of the financial terms governing transactions on Artsays.

Artsays is committed to transparent pricing, secure payment processing, and fair transaction practices. All payments are processed through authorised payment service providers in accordance with applicable laws and industry security standards.

4.1 Transaction Fees & Service Charges

Artsays may charge transaction fees, commissions, service charges, authentication fees, promotional charges, or other fees for certain transactions and services available on the platform.

The applicable fees, pricing, and payment terms will be clearly displayed or otherwise communicated before the relevant transaction or service is completed.

Artsays reserves the right to introduce, revise, modify, or discontinue fees or paid services from time to time. Any such changes will apply prospectively and will be communicated through appropriate platform channels.

4.2 Payment Methods

Payments on the Artsays platform may be made using payment methods supported by the platform and its authorised payment service providers.

By completing a transaction, buyers authorise Artsays and its authorised payment partners to process the payment using the selected payment method.

Artsays does not store complete payment card information, and payment processing is carried out by authorised payment providers in accordance with applicable security and regulatory standards.

4.3 Taxes

Prices displayed on the Artsays platform may be subject to applicable taxes, duties, levies, or statutory charges as required by applicable law.

Artists and sellers are responsible for complying with all applicable tax laws, including GST, income tax, and other regulatory obligations applicable to their business activities.

Where required by applicable law, Artsays may collect, deduct, withhold, report, or remit applicable taxes or statutory deductions before processing payouts or completing transactions.

4.4 Chargebacks

Buyers should first contact Artsays through the available support channels to seek resolution of any payment or order-related issue before initiating a chargeback with their financial institution, where reasonably possible.

Where a chargeback is initiated, Artsays may investigate the transaction, request supporting documentation from the buyer and the relevant artist or seller, and cooperate with the authorised payment provider or financial institution during the chargeback process.

Fraudulent, abusive, or repeated chargebacks may result in account restrictions, recovery of amounts lawfully due, suspension of platform privileges, or other enforcement actions permitted under applicable Artsays policies and laws.

Nothing in this section limits any rights or obligations available under applicable consumer protection laws, payment network rules, or other applicable Artsays policies.
