Shipping, Delivery & Order Fulfilment Policies
1. Shipping, Delivery & Order Fulfilment
The Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how orders placed through the Artsays marketplace are processed, shipped, delivered, and completed. Artsays facilitates shipping through authorised logistics partners, while the respective artist or seller is responsible for preparing and packaging the product for shipment unless otherwise stated.
Estimated processing and delivery timelines may vary depending on the product type, artwork preparation requirements, destination, courier operations, customs procedures, weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond Artsays' reasonable control. Artsays will make reasonable efforts to facilitate timely order fulfilment and delivery updates where available.
This policy should be read together with the Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy, which governs cancellations, refunds, damaged deliveries, and other post-delivery matters.
1.1 Order Fulfilment & Processing Time
After an order is confirmed, the respective artist or seller is responsible for preparing the product for shipment in accordance with the applicable Artsays policies and order requirements.
Fulfilment includes product preparation, secure packaging, inclusion of any applicable certificates or accompanying documentation, and making the shipment available for pickup or handover to the authorised logistics partner.
Orders are considered fulfilled when the product has been properly prepared and transferred to the authorised logistics partner for shipment.
1.2 Shipping Responsibilities & Address Accuracy
Artists and sellers are responsible for securely packaging products and ensuring that shipments are ready for pickup or handover within the applicable processing timeline.
Artsays may facilitate shipping through its authorised logistics partners and provide shipment tracking, delivery updates, or other shipping-related assistance where available.
Buyers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and cooperating with reasonable delivery requirements communicated by the logistics provider.
1.3 Customs & Import Duties
For international shipments, customs duties, import taxes, local levies, clearance fees, or other governmental charges may apply depending on the destination country and applicable laws.
Unless otherwise expressly stated by Artsays, such charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the product price, shipping charges, or other amounts displayed at checkout.
Buyers are responsible for complying with applicable customs, import, export, and local regulatory requirements relating to international shipments.
1.4 Shipping Insurance
Where shipping insurance is included or separately purchased for an order, coverage will be governed by the terms of the applicable insurance provider or logistics partner.
Insurance coverage may be subject to limitations, exclusions, documentation requirements, claim procedures, and other conditions established by the relevant provider.
Artsays may assist in coordinating insurance-related claims where reasonably appropriate, but insurance claims remain subject to the applicable insurer or logistics provider's terms and procedures.
1.5 Delivery Confirmation & Risk Transfer
Delivery is considered completed when the shipment is marked as delivered by the authorised logistics partner or otherwise confirmed through the applicable delivery process.
Risk associated with loss, theft, damage, or deterioration of the shipment generally transfers upon confirmed delivery to the address provided by the buyer, subject to applicable consumer protection laws and any applicable insurance coverage.
Where delivery-related disputes arise, Artsays may review available shipment records, tracking information, delivery confirmation, photographs, courier reports, or other relevant evidence to facilitate an appropriate resolution.
1.6 Order Processing Time
Processing time refers to the period between order confirmation and shipment dispatch. Processing times may vary depending on product type, customisation requirements, artwork preparation, availability, or other operational factors.
Estimated processing timelines displayed on the platform are indicative and may be revised where reasonably necessary. Buyers will be notified of significant processing delays where appropriate.
1.7 Address Accuracy
Buyers are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and deliverable shipping information when placing an order.
Artsays, artists, sellers, and logistics partners shall not be responsible for delays, failed deliveries, additional shipping costs, or other consequences arising from incorrect, incomplete, or outdated delivery information provided by the buyer.
Where an address correction is requested after order confirmation, modifications may be possible only before the shipment enters dispatch or transit, subject to operational feasibility.
1.8 Courier Responsibilities
Shipment transportation and delivery are carried out by authorised logistics partners. Courier operations, including transportation routing, delivery scheduling, delivery attempts, and transit handling, remain under the operational control of the logistics provider.
Artsays may facilitate shipment coordination and tracking support but does not control the day-to-day operations of independent logistics partners.
Where shipment issues occur, Artsays may assist in coordinating investigations, delivery verification, or communication with the relevant logistics provider where reasonably appropriate.
1.9 Split Shipments
Where multiple products in a single order are fulfilled by different artists, sellers, locations, or fulfilment schedules, Artsays may process and ship the products separately.
In such cases, buyers may receive multiple shipment confirmations, tracking numbers, delivery dates, or courier communications relating to different portions of the order.
Additional shipping charges will not be imposed solely because Artsays or the respective fulfilment partners process an order through multiple shipments unless expressly disclosed before purchase.
1.10 Unclaimed Shipments
Where a shipment cannot be delivered due to failed delivery attempts, refusal of delivery, incorrect address information, failure to complete customs procedures, or failure to collect the shipment from the logistics provider, the shipment may be returned to the sender or otherwise handled in accordance with the logistics partner's applicable procedures.
Buyers may be responsible for additional shipping charges, return shipping charges, customs-related charges, storage fees, or other costs arising from unclaimed or undeliverable shipments where applicable.
Any refund, replacement, reshipment, or cancellation relating to an unclaimed shipment will be governed by the applicable Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy and other relevant Artsays policies.
