Violations Policies

The Violations Policy outlines the actions Artsays may take where a buyer engages in fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, or other prohibited activities while using the platform. These measures are intended to protect artists, sellers, buyers, payment systems, and the overall integrity of the Artsays marketplace.

Where a potential violation is identified, Artsays may investigate the matter and take appropriate action based on the nature, severity, frequency, and impact of the conduct.

5.1 Fraud & Misuse

Buyers must not engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive activities while using the Artsays platform.

Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

Where fraud or misuse is suspected, Artsays may temporarily suspend transactions, investigate the activity, request additional verification, or take other appropriate enforcement actions in accordance with applicable laws and platform policies.

5.2 Chargeback Abuse

Buyers should first contact Artsays through the available support channels to seek resolution of any payment or order-related issue before initiating a chargeback with their financial institution, where reasonably possible.

Chargebacks should only be initiated where they are legitimate and supported by applicable payment network rules and legal requirements.

Fraudulent, repetitive, or abusive chargebacks, including attempts to obtain refunds after successfully receiving products without a valid reason, may constitute misuse of the platform.

Where chargeback abuse is identified, Artsays reserves the right to investigate the matter and take appropriate action, including recovery of amounts lawfully due, restriction of platform services, or other enforcement measures permitted under applicable laws and Artsays policies.

5.3 Account Restrictions & Suspension

Artsays reserves the right to temporarily restrict, suspend, or limit access to buyer accounts where reasonably necessary to:

Depending on the circumstances, restrictions may include temporary limitations on placing orders, accessing certain platform features, participating in promotions, or using other services.

Where appropriate, Artsays may provide buyers with an opportunity to resolve the identified issue before restoring account access. However, Artsays reserves the right to take immediate action where necessary to protect users, prevent fraud, or comply with applicable laws.

Repeated or serious violations may result in permanent account termination in accordance with the applicable Artsays policies.
